Gordner, Millard Announce State Funds for Vo-Tech Project

(HARRISBURG) – Additional state resources have been made available to assist in the renovation and expansion project at the Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech, according to Senator John R. Gordner (R-27) and Representative David Millard (R-109).

Funds, in the amount of $300,000, will be provided to the Vo-Tech via the state budget, which was approved by the General Assembly in June.  This amount will be in addition to the $1 million in state funds which were announced by Senator Gordner and Representative Millard in July of 2019.

“I am pleased to partner with Representative Millard to continue our support of the important progress being made by the Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech renovation project,” said Senator Gordner.  “The Vo-Tech has a long history of producing successful graduates and remains a vital entity for training young people for the workforce.”

The renovation of the Vo-Tech is expected to have a total cost of approximately $16.8 million.
