Nominations Sought For Best Women in Business Awards

(HARRISBURG) - - The state Department of Community and Economic Development is seeking nominations for the Commonwealth's annual Best 50 Women in Business Awards, according to State Sen. John R. Gordner (R-27).

"Candidates for the award share a commitment to business growth, professional excellence and community involvement," said Sen. Gordner. "Women who are shaping the economic future of Pennsylvania deserve this recognition."

The Department is accepting nominations until February 17. The Best 50 Women in Business awards will be presented in Harrisburg on May 23. Details on the program and nomination process may be found at the Department's website at www.inventpa.com

The program is sponsored by the Department and the state's business journals, including the Central Penn Business Journal.
