June 17, 2010 - Sen. Gordner discusses the Milton Library Relocation Project with Rep. Phillips and John Meckley at the new location for the library at Rose Hill in Milton. The project received a $500,000 grant from the Department of Community and Economic Development later that morning.

June 2, 2010 - Sen. Gordner presents Rep. Phillips and Rep. Fairchild with citations honoring both for being the recipients of the Susquehanna Council Boy Scouts of America 2010 Distinguished Citizen Award at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove.

May 17, 2010 - Sen. Gordner visits Turbotville Elementary in response to letters the students wrote to him requesting a new Pennsylvania flag.

April 29, 2010 - Sen. Gordner meets with Jeremy Horning a senior at Bucknell University who partnered with Hoeganaes Corp. in Watsontown through the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Bucknell to research and develop a solution to a packaging problem Hoeganaes encountered with its powdered metal products.

April 16, 2010 - Sen. Gordner, Rep. Phillips and Rep. Fairchild participate in the dedication of State Route 35 from Selinsgrove to the Snyder County line near Richfield as the Pfc. Justin W. Dreese Memorial Highway.

April 14, 2010 - Sen. Gordner visits Upper Dauphin Area High School in Elizabethville to meet with students he competed against during Economics Pennsylvania's Stock Market Game Legislative Challenge.

April 13, 2010 – Sen. Gordner poses with the fourth grade class from the Columbia County Christian School on the floor of the Senate.

March 8, 2010 – Sen. Gordner invited the Selinsgrove Area High School football team to the State Capitol to be formally congratulated by the full Senate for being the 2009 PIAA AAA state champions.

March 2, 2010 - Sen. Gordner questions the Secretary of Corrections, Jeffrey Beard, during the Department's annual budget hearing before the Senate Appropriations Committee.

February 16, 2010 - Sen. Gordner questions the Secretary of the Budget, Mary Soderberg, and the Acting Secretary of Revenue, Dan Hassell, about the use of lottery funds during a Senate Appropriations Committee budget hearing.

February 8, 2010 - Sen. Gordner and Rep. Millard host the Bloomsburg University Field Hockey team at the Capitol to honor the team’s fourth straight NCAA Division II title.

November 17, 2009 - Sen. Gordner was the guest speaker at the annual dinner of the Brush Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce in Mount Carmel.

August 14, 2009 - Senator Gordner witnessed the signing of an agreement between the Shamokin branch of Luzerne County Community College (LCCC) and Misericordia University to jointly offer accelerated bachelor's degrees in business administration, professional studies and registered nursing. The program will allow students to obtain a bachelor's degree in 2 1/2 years.

June 23, 2009 - Senator Gordner meets in the Senate chamber with Miles Wolfe, Ben Showers, Jon Root and Jacob Snyder, participants in the American Legion's Keystone Boys State program. Miles, Jon and Jacob represented Shikellamy High School while Ben represented Selinsgrove Area High School.

April 16, 2009 - Sen. Gordner participates in the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Senior Wellness Center at the YMCA in Elizabethville.

April 11, 2009 - Senator Gordner meets with students from the Columbia- Montour Vocational Technical School. Samantha Dagostine, Emily Hartman, Jessica Whitenight and Kelly Strada won first place in a statewide travel/lodging management competition held at the Nittany Lion Inn in State College. The students were accompanied by their teacher and advisor Donna Harris.

April 9, 2009 - Senator Gordner questions local government officials at a meeting of the Senate Republican Policy Committee held at the Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport regarding the potential impact of natural gas drilling in the Marcellus Shale region. The panel included Sen. Gene Yaw (R – Lycoming County), Rep. Garth Everett (R – Lycoming County) and Rep. Rick Mirabito (D – Lycoming County).
